Meet Maryann Weed

Creativity, Connection, and Confidence

Hi, I'm Maryann, the artist and instructor behind Wackadoo Wonders.

I believe creativity should be fun, welcoming, and accessible to everyone. Whether you're joining a jewelry-making class, hosting a private party, or discovering one of my handcrafted creations in a local shop, my goal is to help people experience the joy of creating something with their own hands.

No matter your experience level, you'll find a supportive environment where questions are encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and no one gets left behind.

Why I Teach

One of my favorite moments in every class is hearing someone say:

"I'm not creative."

And then watching them leave proudly wearing a piece of jewelry they made themselves.

Teaching isn't just about jewelry. It's about helping people build confidence, try something new, and enjoy the process of creating.

My classes are designed so that beginners feel comfortable, supported, and successful.

My Teaching Philosophy

One of the things I'm most proud of as an instructor is creating a learning environment where everyone feels successful.

I understand that people learn at different speeds, and my goal is to make sure every student has a positive experience.

Rather than racing through a project, I teach in stages. Students are given time to complete each step, and I make sure everyone is caught up before moving on to the next part of the project. This approach allows beginners to feel comfortable asking questions and helps everyone leave with a finished piece they're proud of.

My classes are built around a simple philosophy:

No one gets left behind.

Whether you're naturally artistic or have never picked up a pair of jewelry pliers before, you'll find a supportive, encouraging environment where learning is fun and success is achievable.

"My goal isn't to finish first. My goal is to make sure everyone crosses the finish line together."
