Frequently Asked Questions

All the Information in One Place

Do you have any general or specific questions? We’ve made a list of the most popular questions and their answers. If you still have any doubts, please get in touch directly.

  • Do I need jewelry-making experience? — Nope. Your classes and parties are beginner-friendly and taught step-by-step.

  • What ages can participate? — Public jewelry classes are generally 15+. Kids jewelry parties are 7+.

  • Do you provide all the supplies? — Yes. Materials and tools needed for the project are provided.

  • Where are private parties held? — At your private home studio in Boise, or some experiences can travel to the customer's location.

  • Can I book a private party for just one or two people? — Absolutely. A party doesn't need a crowd.

  • How many people can your studio accommodate? —The Wackadoo Wonders private home studio in Boise can accommodate up to 23 crafters, depending on the type of event. Because wire wrapping involves more detailed, hands-on instruction, wire-wrapping classes and parties are usually kept to fewer than 10 participants so everyone gets the guidance and attention they need. Other creative events, including kids jewelry crafting parties, can accommodate larger groups. Small groups are always welcome too—even a party of one!

  • Do you travel for parties? — Yappin' While Wrappin' can travel; Clay Jewelry & Jibber-Jabber is studio-only.

  • How long are parties? — Most private jewelry parties are approximately two hours. Kids parties reserve two hours, with roughly one hour of guided crafting and the remaining time available for food, cake, presents, etc.

  • How does payment work? — Payment is collected at the beginning of your class, workshop, or private party. We do not collect payment online or sell tickets in advance. We accept cash, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, and credit cards.

  • Can everyone choose different stones/colors/materials? — Absolutely! One of the best parts of a Wackadoo Wonders class or party is making your project your own. You'll have a variety of stones, wire colors, beads, charms, and other materials to choose from depending on the project. Everyone can make something completely different—there's no expectation that your finished pieces should all look alike. I’ll teach you the technique, and you bring your own personality to the design.

  • Do our projects have to look exactly like the example? —  Not at all! The examples are there for inspiration, not imitation. I’ll teach you the techniques you need to complete the project, but the colors, stones, materials, and creative choices are yours. There’s no pressure for perfection and no expectation that everyone’s project should look the same. The goal is to leave with something that feels like you made it yours.

  • Can I bring a guest or child with me to class? Due to limited classroom space, public classes are reserved for registered students only. Please do not bring children or other non-participating guests to public classes. If you need to bring a child with you, contact me about scheduling a private session at Wackadoo Wonders Studio. With advance notice, I can have age-appropriate kids' craft projects ready so they have something fun to create while you work on your jewelry project.

  • What if I registered for a class but can no longer attend? Plans change—we understand! If you’re unable to attend, please cancel your RSVP through our website so your seat can be offered to someone on the waitlist. Open your registration confirmation or class reminder email, click View Event, and select Cancel RSVP. Our classes have limited seating, and cancelling through the system gives another Wackadoodle the opportunity to join us. Thank you for helping us make every seat count!
